Job summary

The National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore invites applications for the position of Manager, Programme Administration & Management in the Office of Teacher Education & Undergraduate Programmes (TEUP).

The Manager will support the Associate Dean in planning and managing initial teacher preparation and undergraduate programmes, and will provide leadership to the programme team and secretariat support for committees.

Qualifications

• University Degree, preferably in business management.
• Strong writing skills with experience in minutes and policy papers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and service skills.
• Able to multitask, organise, analyse and write well.

Responsibilities

• Support the Associate Dean in planning and management of initial teacher preparation and undergraduate programmes.
• Provide leadership to the programme team and support professional development.
• Provide secretariat support for committees and policy papers for Management Boards.
• Liaise with subject/course coordinators and external stakeholders on programme matters.
• Manage programme administration, student matters, timetable and class allocation.
