Job summary

The National Institute of Education (NIE) invites applications for the position of Manager, Programme Administration & Management in the Office of Teacher Education & Undergraduate Programmes.

The Manager will support the Associate Dean in planning and managing initial teacher preparation programmes, including timetabling, class allocation, and academic planning, working with coordinators and external partners.

Qualifications

• University degree (preferably in business management).
• At least four years of relevant work experience in student support or programme administration.
• Ability to understand complex operational processes and lead change.
• Strong writing skills with experience drafting minutes and policy papers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and service skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; digitalized environment experience.
• Experience in operations and management in education is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer initial teacher preparation programmes and undergraduate programmes.
• Liaise with subject/course coordinators and external stakeholders on programme matters.
• Provide leadership to the programme team and support their professional development.
