Job summary

You will build REST APIs, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with Product, QA, Design, and DevOps to ensure scalable, reliable platforms for learning, progress tracking, and content management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for EdTech applications and backend services.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Work on features related to: Student and user management, Courses and learning content, Assessments, quizzes, and assignments, Student progress and performance tracking, Teacher and educator tools, Notifications and communication, Learning resources and content management, Reports and dashboards, Third-party integrations.
• Write unit tests and participate in integration and automated testing.
• Debug application issues and troubleshoot production or development problems.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Work with databases to store and retrieve application and learning-related data.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Design, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuously improve development processes.
• Learn new technologies and contribute to improving the scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform.
