We are looking for an Editor (Audience Lab) to lead audience development and innovation for The Business Times. Working closely with various stakeholders including editorial, social media, visuals, video, podcast, data and other teams, the candidate will develop and execute audience strategies that will grow BT’s reach, engagement and loyalty.
This is a strategic and hands‑on role for someone who understands both quality journalism and digital audience behaviour. The successful candidate will be expected to bring a strong audience perspective into the newsroom while also developing practical strategies to grow readership across touchpoints including search, social, direct channels and emerging platforms.
The successful candidate will also help build a stronger audience culture within BT, ensuring that data and insights are used not simply to measure performance, but to inform decisions about what we cover, how we shape our journalism and how we reach different audiences.
The role reports to the Executive Editor.
