Job summary

Moody's Analytics in Singapore seeks a junior economist/analyst to source, organize, and analyze macroeconomic and financial data for Asia-Pacific research and forecasting.

You will build structured datasets, conduct analyses on custom data, and produce concise commentary explaining economic developments to a broad audience, using EViews, R, or Python under the Economics team's guidance.

• Support larger econometric projects using tools such as EViews, R, or Python, with opportunities to expand programming skills
• Assist in preparing content for publications, presentations, and topical analysis produced by the Economics team

Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Economics or a related field (penultimate or final year of Bachelor’s or first year of Master’s)
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in an Asian language in addition to English is desirable
