Job summary

Marina Technology and Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Singapore team. The role focuses on cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and commercial management within a fast-paced construction environment.

The successful candidate will monitor project costs, handle variations and claims, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure contract compliance. A relevant degree or diploma, plus 2+ years' QS experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and tendering procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
• Evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and manage subcontract agreements.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier progress claims.
• Track project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contract requirements.
• Assist in procurement and material sourcing.
