Job summary

ALBEDO DESIGN PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to translate client requirements into detailed floor plans and creative concepts.

You will present mood boards and renderings, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors to ensure seamless project delivery. The role requires a Diploma in Interior Design, at least 3 years of design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• At least 3 years of design experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, 2D and 3D visualization, Corona Rendering, Vray Rendering, SketchUp, InDesign, Enscape.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand requirements, preferences, needs and budget constraints.
• Create detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize the functionality.
• Generate creative and unique design concepts that align with the client's vision and project objectives.
• Present design ideas through mood boards, sketches, and renderings.
• Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
• Report to General Manager regarding the project design, progress, budget, cost and other issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets, providing cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
• Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising design quality.
• Project management for renovation works including site supervision and project coordination.
• Conduct site visits regularly and respond to all issues encountered.
• Communicate design concepts effectively through presentations, using visual aids such as 2D and 3D renderings.
