Job summary

Nexus Management Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on cook for a full-time position at Simei, Singapore. The role covers food preparation, cooking, plating, and station operation during service hours.

Qualifications

• Dress code: Black plain polo tee, black long pants and black covered shoes (no logos).
• Physically fit and able to handle standing/walking for long hours.
• Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 1 is required.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: Cut, chop, marinate and prep ingredients according to daily lists and recipes.
• Cooking & plating: Prepare and cook menu items on time during service hours with correct taste and presentation.
• Kitchen station operation: Safely operate grills, fryers, stoves, and ovens.
• Food safety & hygiene: Maintain personal hygiene and proper FIFO storage to prevent contamination.
• Station cleaning: Keep prep tables and gear clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Stock assistance: Receive deliveries, check freshness, and report low inventory.
