Job summary

PSA Corporation in Singapore is seeking a dynamic HSS Duty Manager to strengthen security, safety and emergency response across the port. You will lead security operations, coordinate with Home Team agencies, and guide high-performing teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

You will drive readiness, ensure audit compliance and oversee life-saving equipment while embracing digitalisation and smart-system projects to enhance resilience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hold/held leadership roles in SCDF or SPF.
• Background in Emergency Medical Technician, HazMat, Marine or security.
• Certifications such as Fire Safety Manager, aerial drone license or security.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to meet the fitness requirements and perform shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide security leadership for port-wide operations.
• Oversee security operations and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Home Team agencies.
• Conduct threat assessments, vulnerability studies and Red Teaming.
• Lead Emergency Response Command and rescue incidents.
• Direct firefighting, HazMat and medical emergencies.
• Maintain strong safety discipline and on-ground control.
• Ensure operational readiness of fire stations and assets.
• Oversee procurement, testing and certification of life-saving equipment.
• Support smart-system integration and automation projects.
• Enhance surveillance, risk management and visibility.
• Mentor officers and foster a safety-first culture.
• Lead drills, exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure documentation and audit standards are met.
