Job summary

Jordan Rose Consulting is partnering with an established international shipping company in Singapore to fill a Dry Bulk Chartering Manager role. The candidate will manage chartering activity, develop cargo opportunities, and negotiate fixtures to maximise fleet earnings.

The ideal candidate will have proven dry bulk chartering experience, a strong network of charterers and brokers, and deep knowledge of freight markets and voyage calculations. Experience in Asia would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dry bulk chartering.
• Strong network of charterers, brokers and cargo interests.
• Excellent knowledge of freight markets, charter parties and voyage calculations.
• A demonstrable track record of securing profitable fixtures.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Experience in the Asian market would be advantageous.
