Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with patent data and life sciences intelligence.
• Able to read and interpret English-language patent materials.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, chemistry or biology.
• Strong analytical skills with rigorous documentation.
• Familiar with using AI tools for research workflows.]

Responsibilities

• Analyze drug-patent relationships and classify patents as core, recommended, or excluded.
• Investigate patent documents: titles, abstracts, claims, descriptions and families.
• Assess relationships to drugs, targets, indications and mechanisms.
• Leverage patent families and public data for a fuller view of relationships.
• Document evidence, sources, and reasoning for review or exclusion.
• Help define relationship schemas, tiers and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to translate expertise into prompts and QA processes.
• Use AI to improve consistency, throughput and accuracy.
• Identify recurring errors and help refine rules and approaches.
