Job summary

National University Health Services Group Pte. Ltd. is hiring transport staff to maintain vehicles, coordinate patient transfers, and assist patients and visitors on site.

The role requires driving licences, basic first aid, and willingness to work overtime on a 2-rotating shift schedule. You will report maintenance gaps and support in service-improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Possess a Singapore Class 3 and Class 4 driving licence.
• Defensive Driving Qualification required or preferred.
• First Aid trained / BCLS certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime to cover shortfalls.
• Able to work on a 2-rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and servicing is carried out periodically.
• Coordinate transport requests including patient transfers to hospital or other institutions.
• Provide immediate assistance to patients/visitors (directions, wheelchairs, etc).
• Report faults to Maintenance and Housekeeping promptly.
• Participate in ambulance exercises and deployment activities.
• Assist Supervisor in projects and manpower planning for transport duties.

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition


• Ensure preventive maintenance and servicing is carried out periodically


• Report faults and defects promptly


• Co-ordinate transport requests including handling of patient transfers to other hospital/institution.


• Offer immediate assistance to patients/visitors, e.g. directions, wheelchairs etc


• Report to Maintenance and Housekeeping departments on any service gaps


• Participate in any exercises and drills involving ambulance


• Participate in ad hoc deployment exercises (e.g. FMT, VVIP visits, etc)


• Assist Supervisor in projects and service improvement activities


• Assist Supervisor in manpower planning and roster for transport and other duties

Job Requirements

• Possess a Singapore Class 3 and Class 4 driving licence


• Possess Defensive Driving Qualification


• First Aid Trained/BCLS certified candidates are preferred


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff


• Able to perform OT to cover shortfalls if required


• Able to work 2-rotating shift
