Job summary

CASKET FAIRPRICE is expanding and invites a compassionate funeral services driver to join our Sin Ming team. You will be responsible for collection and transport of the deceased, driving company vehicles including hearses, and preparing coffins with care.

You will also support funeral advisors, conduct eulogy services, assist with wake setup, maintain vehicles and premises, and perform night shift duties while upholding our service standards with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Able to do shift work and work overtime when needed.
• Valid Class 3 Driving Licence is required.
• Able to handle physical work and lift heavy items.
• Empathetic in dealing with bereaved families.
• Team-player.
• Experience in this industry is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collection and transportation of deceased.
• Driving and operating company vehicles, including funeral hearses.
• Preparation of coffin and encoffining.
• Perform various essential tasks during the funeral process, and assist funeral advisors in serving bereaved families.
• Conduct eulogy services.
• Loading and unloading of heavy items/ coffins.
• Assemble and disassemble funeral wake set up.
• Maintenance, cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, premises, goods and equipment.
• Perform night shift duties.
• Upholding company service standards and professionalism.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required.

• Working Hours: 5.5 days | 8.30am – 5.00pm | Saturday 8.30am - 1.00pm
