Job summary

The Lentor Residence Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Driver cum Day Care Assistant for its nursing home in Macpherson. The role involves transporting clients, assisting with daily activities and providing custodial care to seniors.

You will conduct health and mobility checks, lead morning orientation, facilitate prescribed exercises, and support meals, outings, and activities while maintaining a safe, clean daycare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum primary education with basic English.
• Class 3 driving license.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Driving experience in Social Service centre or Rehabilitation centre an advantage.
• Ability to converse in local dialect an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to their transport vehicle.
• Conduct daily health, mobility and well-being checks.
• Conduct morning orientation to clients.
• Facilitate physical exercises prescribed by the Physiotherapist.
• Plan, design and conduct diversional activities.
• Ensure client’s participation in activities and exercises.
• Assist in meal preparation, meal serving, and feeding (oral & NGt) as needed.
• Render custodial care as needed (Haircut, nail care, skin care, changing of diaper, showering).
• Assist seniors in their basic activities of daily living including personal hygiene, custodial care and transferring.
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of the daycare surroundings.
• Assist in outing activities.

• Ensure client’s participation in activities and exercises.
