Avon Industries PTE LTD is seeking a capable Driver cum Supervisor in Singapore to transport personnel and materials and to oversee daily site activities. You will coordinate workers, contractors, and equipment, while ensuring safe and on-schedule project execution.

The role requires driving experience, strong communication in English, and the ability to coordinate teams and safety procedures on site. A local driving licence and readiness to work on-site are expected.

Competenze

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, equipment and materials.
• Coordinate daily transportation arrangements with project managers and supervisors.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks, cleaning and maintenance; maintain vehicle logbooks and arrange servicing.
• Comply with traffic regulations and company vehicle safety requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate site personnel, equipment and daily operations to support project execution.
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings and monitor the work of technicians and contractors.
• Understand project scope and monitor progress against schedules and budgets.
• Liaise with internal departments, customers and contractors regarding site requirements.

As a Driver cum Supervisor, you will transport personnel and materials while overseeing daily site activities, coordinating workers and contractors, and ensuring work is carried out safely and on schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, equipment and materials to designated locations.
• Coordinate daily transportation arrangements with project managers and supervisors.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks, cleaning and maintenance; maintain vehicle logbooks and arrange servicing, repairs and inspections.
• Comply with traffic regulations and company vehicle safety requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate site personnel, equipment and daily operations to support efficient project execution.
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings, assign duties and monitor the work of technicians, skilled workers, general workers and contractors.
• Understand project scope, plan manpower and resources, and monitor work progress against schedules and budgets.
• Liaise with internal departments, customers and contractors regarding site and project requirements.
• Communicate management instructions to site teams and monitor productivity and operational performance.
• Carry out job safety analysis, prepare and comply with Risk Assessments (RA), and enforce safe work procedures and PPE requirements.
• Implement the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements and identify on-the-job training needs.
• Support the Senior Supervisor or Project Coordinator when required and perform other related duties assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

• Secondary / GCE O-Level / ITE / Diploma qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience and a valid Singapore Class 3, 4 or 5 driving licence, as applicable to the assigned vehicle.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in site operations or supervision.
• Experience coordinating workers, contractors, equipment and site activities.
• Able to communicate in English and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
