Job summary

IMPACT BPO SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled draftsman to produce detailed technical drawings and layouts from engineers' instructions. You will apply standards and use AutoCAD to ensure accuracy.

The role involves maintaining documentation, revising drawings, coordinating with teams, and performing quality checks. A Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of drafting experience are required; knowledge of SolidWorks and Revit is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks and Revit is an advantage
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and engineering principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications, sketches, or instructions from engineers or project managers
• Apply drafting standards, guidelines, and industry best practices to create accurate technical drawings
• Use AutoCAD software to produce precise drawings with correct dimensions, annotations, and symbols
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, schedules, and material lists for construction or manufacturing
• Revise drawings as directed by project managers or design professionals to accommodate design changes or resolve issues
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and management to clarify design requirements and coordinate drafting activities
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and project specifications
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical drawing files to ensure easy retrieval and version control
• Execute ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors or management
