Job summary

SJ Group in Singapore is seeking a Drafting Coordinator to overlay and coordinate design drawings from multiple consultants and disciplines, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and strong attention to detail to support engineers, project managers, and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or similar drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and large drawing sets.
• Familiarity with drawing management standards and document control.
• Ability to work independently and with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Overlay and coordinate design drawings from multiple consultants and disciplines.
• Identify inconsistencies and clashes across design models and generate clash reports and screenshots.
• Maintain version control of incoming, working, and outgoing drawing files with clear naming/versioning.
• Support Engineering and Project Management teams in ensuring design accuracy and coordination.
• Assist in preparing documentation for design reviews and technical meetings.

• Identify inconsistencies and clashes across design models and drawings and generate clash reports and screenshot documentation for Engineers' review.
• Maintain proper version control of incoming, working, and outgoing drawing files, ensuring clear and consistent file naming and versioning.
• Support the Engineering and Project Management teams in ensuring design accuracy and effective coordination.
• Assist in preparing documentation for design reviews and technical meetings.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other relevant drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and handling large sets of drawings.
• Familiarity with construction document standards and drawing management protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
