Job summary

TAISENG ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop 2D/3D components using Inventor, AutoCAD or SolidWorks and to draft precise drawings.

You will prepare BOMs, technical reports, and cost estimates for machine development projects, perform simulations, and analyze test data while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD tools (Inventor/AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for 2D/3D design.
• Strong drafting and technical drawing abilities with high accuracy.
• Experience preparing BOMs, technical docs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or SolidWorks for 2D and 3D mechanical design and drafting.
• Prepare Mechanical BOMs, technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Develop budget estimates, costing and resource requirements for machine development projects.
• Prepare statistical reports and undertake other ad-hoc engineering duties as assigned.
• Ability to perform engineering simulations and analyze test data involving mechanical components, fluid flow and structural stress.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical drawing skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to undertake other ad-hoc engineering duties as assigned.
