Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for individual donors and provide timely, professional responses to inquiries.
- Coordinate and execute donor stewardship activities, including thank‑you calls, letters, and updates on impact.
- Maintain accurate and updated donor records in the CRM database, ensuring data privacy and integrity.
- Collaborate with fundraising team members to support GIRO, Zakat, and other individual giving programmes.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of donor communication materials such as newsletters, annual updates, eDMs, and acknowledgement letters.
- Monitor donor engagement patterns and suggest strategies for renewal, reactivation, and upgrade of giving.
- Coordinate logistics for donor appreciation events, recognition activities, and public engagement campaigns.
- Generate reports and donor analytics to support decision‑making by the fundraising team.
- Assist in volunteer engagement efforts as they relate to donor events and outreach campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with Jamiyah's fundraising, communication, and data protection policies.
- Participate in major fundraising events such as Flag Day, Charity Gala, or community engagement drives.
- Perform other donor‑related or fundraising duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'A' Level or Diploma in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, fundraising, donor stewardship, or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and empathy with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/donor management platforms (training provided if necessary).
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and independently in a donor‑facing role.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or campaigns.
- Passion for social causes and alignment with Jamiyah Singapore's vision and mission.
- Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
- Able to represent Jamiyah professionally in internal and external settings.
- Willingness to attend events outside of regular working hours as needed.
