Job summary

Mola Subsea Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Operations Manager to lead commercial diving and underwater operations, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable project delivery in line with regulations and client requirements.

You will oversee diving teams, equipment, and manpower, while coordinating with shipowners and authorities to meet deadlines and budgets. The role demands strong leadership, safety focus, and willingness to travel for projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or maritime studies preferred.
• Recognised commercial diving qualifications.
• Diving Supervisor certification or equivalent competency preferred.
• Valid commercial diving medical fitness certification, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise commercial diving operations.
• Oversee underwater hull cleaning, propeller polishing and inspections.
• Supervise underwater welding, stern tube seal replacement and other subsea repairs.
• Prepare operation plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate divers, supervisors, technicians, boat crews and subcontractors.
• Liaise with shipowners, ship managers, port authorities and agents.
• Prepare quotations, project reports and operational documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
