Position

Louis Vuitton is looking for a Distribution Planner for Watches and Jewelry in South Asia, based in Singapore. We are looking for a professional dedicated to excellence, client-centricity, and innovation. This role is crucial for planning and optimizing stock allocation across our entire high-end and core watch and jewelry. You will collaborate with Merchandising and local teams, leveraging detailed sales trends and inventory analysis to ensure the strategic placement of each piece, maximizing sales opportunities and directly contributing to our company's ambition.

This role is a fixed term contract till June 2027.

Job responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Optimize the stock level in the network and regional warehouse. Ensure that the stock is at the right stores and the right moment to prevent any missed sales opportunities.
• Ensure timely rebalancing of overstock and out of offer products.
• Monitor and enhance critical KPIs including overstock rates, availability, and long-tail performance, actively mitigating the risk of obsolescence for high-value items.

Client Order Management

• Manage product status within the Order Management System (orderable, non-orderable, under validation), ensuring real-time accuracy for watches and jewelry.
• Fulfill client orders by managing stock, rebalancing inventory, or escalating to the Central team, always prioritizing urgent client requests.
• Maintain timely communication with retail team, providing clear visibility on delivery for client order.
• Coordinate with local repair teams or Central for refreshing processes to ensure impeccable condition before final client delivery.
• Present detailed invoicing plans for high-end watch and jewelry pieces to top management, based on insights from a dedicated sales tracker.

Event Management

• Communicate event timelines and shipping deadlines to all relevant stakeholders, notably for temporary export/import processing.
• Collaborate with Merchandising teams (local and zone) to define and secure the optimal product assortment for each event.
• Facilitate stock support from Central and manage regional rebalancing to ensure timely and complete delivery of all required stock.
• Coordinate efficient and secure inter-event shipments within tight timeframes, necessitating strong collaboration between local teams and logistics.
• Engage with the retail team at events to facilitate correct order processing in the system.

New Products Management

• Distribute new watch and jewelry collections, aligning stock availability with launch strategies. Collaborate with Merchandising to prioritize top stores for maximum launch impact and ensure timely delivery of stock.
• Manage new product launches by coordinating with central teams and Merchandisers to adapt launch scenarios during stock tensions.
• Drive sell-through optimization through effective post-launch stock rebalancing initiatives.

Projects, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to global Supply Chain projects, representing South Asia's needs and ensuring regional interests are met.
• Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing current processes, tools, and organization to boost supply chain efficiency and achieve company goals.

Profile

• Prior experience in Supply Chain and Retail Distribution
• Proficient in MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Programming skills (VBA, SQL) and SAP
• Quantitative analytical skills and computer savvy; Reliability in data analysis
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative and being accountable
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to work and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Positive attitude with high curiosity and energy
