Job summary

Maersk Singapore is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead day-to-day security operations at the Distribution Centre, safeguarding people, assets, and critical processes while aligning with Maersk Global Security standards. You will oversee contracted security staff, manage the command centre, drive audits and risk assessments, and partner with vendors to ensure incident readiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-6 years of supervisory experience in security operations within a logistics environment.
• Valid PLRD Security Licence and Security Supervisory certification.
• WSQ modules aligned to the PWM Security Supervisor track (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in CCTV operations and security systems.
• Knowledge of TAPA FSR/TSR, CTPAT and local regulatory requirements is advantageous.
• Experience in audits, investigations, and vendor management.
• Experience driving security improvements using technology and cost optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on-site security operations at the DC.
• Monitor access control, CCTV, and security systems to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate manpower deployment and ensure shift coverage.
• Oversee incident response, investigations, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Maersk security standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Plan and manage security for VIP visits and high-traffic periods.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOPs and security processes.
