Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking a Senior Analyst / Analytics Specialist for Distribution to build and maintain dashboards, develop semantic models in Power BI, and extract data from DataHub using SQL.

You will partner with Distribution leaders to translate business needs into analytics solutions, perform ad‑hoc analysis, and uplift analytics capability across the team. This hands‑on role requires strong communication and data validation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building dashboards and semantic models in Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills with proven experience extracting and manipulating data from large databases (Databricks or similar).
• Strong data validation, reconciliation, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or distribution analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI to support Distribution performance management, sales tracking, incentives, and compensation analysis.
• Data Extraction & Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data directly from the DataHub and other relevant sources. Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Business Analytics & Insights: Partner with Distribution leaders to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions. Provide ad‑hoc analysis and actionable insights to support commercial planning, channel performance, and business improvement initiatives.
• Capability Building: Share best practices and provide training to uplift Power BI and data extraction skills within the Distribution team.
