Job summary

Dell Technologies' Displays Engineering Team is offering a Hardware/Software Engineer Intern position for a 6-month period in Singapore. You will work across the full hardware‑software stack on embedded systems and display technologies, gaining hands-on experience with firmware development, Linux-based tools, and hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities include developing firmware for display control, implementing interfaces for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, and contributing to test plans

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python.
• Linux proficiency and scripting.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Ability to read datasheets and hardware documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test firmware for display control systems.
• Design and implement hardware-software interfaces using microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
• Write and execute test plans to validate display functionality, performance, and compatibility.
• Develop Linux-based diagnostic and control applications for display testing and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware–firmware integration issues.
• Document technical specifications, test procedures, and engineering solutions.
