Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore seeks a visionary Cluster Director, Media Development to lead the end-to-end strategy, delivery and transformation of Singapore's media ecosystem across broadcast, print, digital platforms and emerging formats.

You will oversee the Public Service Media division alongside New Media & Marketing and Media Capability Development, driving integrated outcomes in content creation, distribution, measurement and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate Singapore's public service media ecosystem.
• Oversee the full PSM landscape across broadcast, print, and digital platforms with a coherent national strategy.
• Drive integration across content, distribution, measurement and capability development to break silos.
• Translate national priorities into coordinated strategies and programmes delivering public service outcomes at scale.
• Guide evolution of PSM entities toward sustainable operating models balancing funding, efficiency and innovation.
• Drive adoption of technology-enabled solutions to improve productivity and content delivery.
• Anticipate shifts in media consumption and platform economics to position Singapore proactively.
• Shape strategies to keep public service content relevant across linear, digital and social platforms.
• Oversee New Media initiatives to strengthen digital delivery, creator ecosystems and platform partnerships.
• Lead efforts to optimise reach, engagement and performance using data and analytics.
• Establish benchmarks and accountability across PSM entities and programmes.
• Drive data-informed content strategies, funding decisions and policy development.
