HP seeks a Device Software Product Director to lead a large, globally distributed team responsible for delivering device software across Home, SMB and Volume Laser products in alignment with the Vintage Chart. This leader partners closely with hardware, firmware platform, solutions, quality, and program stakeholders to drive end-to-end NPI execution.

The role advances engineering modernization through AI, automation, improved developer experience, and disciplined quality practices while building

Qualifications

15+ years of job-related/management experience in engineering design or related field.
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsabilités

Lead a large, globally distributed engineering organization with emphasis on product delivery, software quality, and transformation priorities.
Deliver embedded software releases meeting customer, security, reliability, and performance commitments.
Improve quality and reliability through automated tests, simulations, documentation, observability, and continuous process improvement.
Lead cross-functional execution with hardware, firmware, QA and program leaders to align priorities and enable predictable delivery.
Exercise strategic judgment to optimize customer value, technical excellence, risk, cost, and scalability.
Accelerate engineering modernization through AI-enabled practices, automation, and modern tools.
Build organizational capability by developing leaders, communicating clearly, and fostering accountability.
