Position Overview

LOOK CAPITAL is seeking a Vice President/Director, Investment Counsellor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is an experienced investment professional with a proven ability to manage client portfolios, offer tailored investment solutions, and play a leading role to the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong producer and teamwork believer: able to cover own clients' portfolios independently as well as contribute to the team in other aspects
• Provide investment advisory services and recommendations across multiple asset classes to clients
• Service and develop clients by providing investment advice in a holistic approach through a combination of technical knowledge and a structured investment approach
• Maintain investment dialogue with clients on understanding goals and objectives, developing and implementing overall investment plan
• Identify product solutions for client needs, based on view of the market
• Work in close partnership with the internal teams, including but not limited to relationship managers, specialists, product managers and developers

Qualifications

• University degree holder in any discipline, with minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar investment advisory capacity (open to candidates with markets or asset management experience with strong investment experience)
• Fluent in both Chinese and English is required in order to explain complex investment concepts for clients in both languages
• Thorough knowledge of the full range of solutions and investment products and strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
• Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of UHNW clients in the region (private individuals and families)
• Proven track record on investment management performance and ability to engage with China clients
• Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and results-focused
• Proficiency with MS Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint
