Job summary

Axon Partners seeks a Director, Global Treasury to lead and scale treasury operations across fiat and digital assets. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building scalable capability across multiple entities and jurisdictions rather than inheriting an existing function.

You will own end-to-end treasury operations, liquidity management, automation, and a global treasury team, while partnering with banks, custodians, exchanges and infrastructure partners to expand into new markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in treasury, banking, asset management, fintech, technology or financial services.
• Proven experience leading treasury operations, liquidity management or payments within a global organisation with depth across reconciliation, payment infrastructure, cash management and operational risk controls.
• Strong understanding of banking networks, payment rails and settlement systems.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency and cross-border treasury experience.
• Track record leading high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience implementing automation, AI tools or technology solutions in a treasury environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end global treasury operations across fiat, digital assets, settlements and cash positioning.
• Manage liquidity across banks, custodians, exchanges and wallets; monitor counterparty risk.
• Drive treasury systems and automation; build dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Lead a global treasury team; establish SOPs, SLAs and performance metrics.

We are on a confidential search for a well-capitalised global family office with a portfolio of operating businesses across technology and digital assets. We are appointing a Director, Global Treasury to lead and scale treasury operations across fiat and digital assets.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own operational excellence across treasury, liquidity, payments, settlements, reconciliation and treasury infrastructure — building scalable capability across multiple entities and jurisdictions rather than inheriting an established function.

What you’ll own

• End-to-end global treasury operations across fiat, stablecoins and digital assets — payment execution, settlements, reconciliation and cash positioning across banks, exchanges, custodians, OTC counterparties and on-chain infrastructure


• Enterprise-wide liquidity across multiple banking partners, custodians and wallets — liquidity forecasting, capital movements, daily cash positioning, and monitoring of counterparty, settlement and operational risk


• Treasury systems and automation — driving automation across payments, settlements, reconciliation and reporting, and building dashboards that give real-time visibility into treasury performance


• Leading and developing a global treasury team, establishing scalable operating procedures, service levels and performance metrics


• Day-to-day relationships with banks, payment providers, exchanges, custodians and infrastructure partners, and supporting expansion into new markets and payment channels

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years in treasury, banking, asset management, fintech, technology or financial services


• Proven experience leading treasury operations, liquidity management or payments within a global organisation — with genuine depth across reconciliation, payment infrastructure, cash management and operational risk controls


• Strong understanding of banking networks, payment rails and settlement systems


• Multi-entity, multi-currency and cross-border treasury experience


• Track record leading high-performing teams


• Hands-on experience implementing automation, AI tools or technology solutions in a treasury environment

Preferred, not required

Prior crypto, Web3 or stablecoin exposure is welcome but not essential — strong corporate treasury backgrounds are very much in scope. Familiarity with exchanges, custody providers, OTC or treasury management systems is an advantage.
