• Proven experience delivering AI programmes for large Telecommunications or Financial Services organisations.

Job description

An exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of transformative AI and GenAI solutions for some of the world's largest Telecommunications and Financial Services organisations. This is not a sales role but a technical delivery role working with business stakeholders to understand their problems and deliver AI solutions.

This is a leadership role responsible for driving AI strategy, leading high‑performing data science teams, developing executive relationships, and growing a market‑leading AI consulting practice.

You will work closely with C‑suite executives to identify high‑value AI opportunities, shape enterprise AI roadmaps, and oversee the delivery of complex machine learning and Generative AI programmes that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Data Science Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers and AI Architects.
• Design and oversee enterprise‑scale machine learning and Generative AI solutions from ideation through production.
• Ensure adoption of best practices across: LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, MLOps, Responsible AI.
• Guide architecture decisions across cloud AI platforms and modern AI ecosystems.

Industry Expertise

Required Experience

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• 12–15+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Minimum 5 years leading enterprise AI consulting engagements.
• Proven experience delivering AI programmes for large Telecommunications or Financial Services organisations.
• Demonstrated experience managing large consulting teams and complex client engagements.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and Boards.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting business development and revenue growth.
