Role Summary The Solutions Lead – APAC sits within the Value Capture & Integration Office, as part of Strategic Commercial Initiatives, and is responsible for driving Market Intelligence's (MI) commercial growth agenda across the APAC region. This role adapts and executes integration‑led growth initiatives — converting product, data, and platform integration into measurable commercial value for APAC markets — partnering with regional Sales, Account Management, Product, Technology, and the Enterprise Data Organization. The Solutions Lead – APAC builds the technical and commercial case for integration‑led growth within the region, from opportunity identification through deal execution and value tracking, and serves as a trusted advisor to regional revenue teams and customer stakeholders on strategic, complex opportunities.
Execute the Value Capture & Integration Office's commercial growth agenda across APAC, identifying where integration of products, data, and platforms creates monetizable value in regional markets. Architect end-to-end solutions that translate integration and synergy opportunities into GTM‑ready offerings for APAC clients, partnering with regional Sales and Account Management to embed them into deal strategy. Track the business case and value‑capture outcomes for strategic commercial initiatives in the region, reporting impact on deal velocity, deal size, win rate, and retention. Drive the shift from siloed, feature‑led selling to integrated, solution‑led selling across the APAC revenue organization. Act as the regional feedback loop between APAC revenue teams and global product/engineering and technology teams, surfacing local integration readiness and requirements. Enable the APAC revenue organization to engage confidently on integrated solution narratives in client discussions. Apply solution architecture best practices within the region, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and differentiated — adapted to local regulatory and market context.
The Solutions Lead – APAC partners with regional Sales and Account teams on strategic opportunities, renewals, expansions, and complex deals — building the deal strategy that enables stakeholders to confidently buy and deploy. Unlock stalled regional pipeline by resolving integration, security, deployment, and operating‑model concerns early in the cycle. Support executive‑level customer engagements across APAC markets to demonstrate the value of integrated MI capabilities and position S&P Global as a strategic partner. Identify recurring value‑capture opportunities within the region and feed successful local integrations back into the Office's global library of reusable solution modules.
The Solutions Lead – APAC develops a deep understanding of regional customer business models, workflows, and decision drivers, translating them into solution designs that articulate value while balancing customer needs with commercial viability. Map current-state and target-state workflows for regional clients to define where integrated data, analytics, and automation capabilities should be embedded for maximum commercial impact. Translate integration opportunities into clear solution designs that articulate why, how, and the value delivered, adapted to local market and regulatory context. Resolve technical and commercial objections by aligning integration approach to customer constraints such as governance, risk, and time‑to‑value across APAC jurisdictions. Maintain credibility by proactively addressing objections and protecting client trust from pre‑sale through adoption.
Collaborate with regional and global Product, Engineering, Technology, and Enterprise Data Organization contacts to refine offerings based on APAC integration insights. Feed customer feedback, implementation realities, and regional commercial potential into the Office's product and technology roadmap discussions. Lead cross‑functional initiatives within APAC that bridge field execution with the Office's integration agenda. Mentor regional teams on value‑capture and solution architecture best practices. Engage with APAC stakeholders at key technology partner firms where integration involves third parties.
Maintain a regional library of solution playbooks and reference architectures, and feed successful local patterns back to the global Office. Guide prototypes and proofs of concept for priority APAC integration pursuits, validating workflow fit, technical feasibility, and measurable outcomes. Train and support the APAC revenue team on the Office's commercial initiatives and repeatable solutions to scale adoption across the region.
10+ years in commercial strategy, pre‑sales/solution architecture, GTM, or integration and value‑capture roles, with regional or APAC market experience. Proven track record supporting commercial growth through integration‑led value capture and solution‑led deal strategy. Demonstrated success supporting strategic commercial initiatives and engaging senior stakeholders on complex opportunities across APAC markets. Technical fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hyperscalers, and modern data integration and orchestration approaches. Working fluency in AI/automation concepts, including agentic frameworks and orchestration tools, with the ability to translate capabilities into deployable client solutions. Excellent stakeholder management skills across matrixed organizations and diverse APAC markets. Relevant education qualification in Business, Engineering, or related field.
