Job summary

BNY is seeking a Director, AI Engineer to lead the APAC AI Hub in Singapore. This senior, hands-on role defines technical direction, building scalable AI capabilities and ensuring alignment with global platforms and governance.

You will mentor engineers and shape MLOps, CI/CD, security, and observability practices, partnering with product, risk, and compliance teams to scale enterprise AI across APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree beneficial.
• 12+ years in applied AI/ML, software/platform engineering.
• Experience establishing technical direction and building scalable AI products.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for AI products, platforms, and components across APAC.
• Lead end-to-end development of production-grade AI solutions with LLMs and RAG.
• Advance enterprise AI platform capabilities, APIs, and developer tools.
• Translate business needs into scalable architectures aligned with global standards.
• Establish practices for MLOps, CI/CD, testing, security, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and grow AI engineering capability across APAC.
