Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking a motivated Analyst to support Direct Co-Investment opportunities and portfolio monitoring. You will gain exposure to investment processes, portfolio analysis and reporting in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience required.
• 9–12 months of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and execution of Direct Co-Investment opportunities with company, industry and market research.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation and modeling to assess investments.
• Assist due diligence across commercial, financial and other workstreams, review materials and synthesize findings.
• Prepare investment analyses and materials for internal discussions.
• Participate in meetings with private equity sponsors and advisors.
• Support transaction execution and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor existing Direct Co-Investment portfolio companies, including financial/operating performance and developments.
• Prepare portfolio review materials and internal reporting.
