Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd. is hiring a Digitalisation and Innovation Engineer based in Jurong Island, Singapore.

You will support digital improvement projects across generation, transmission, or distribution operations, working with engineers and field teams to turn requirements into practical digital solutions. You will evaluate existing tools (SCADA, GIS, AMI, CMMS), implement technologies such as dashboards and basic analytics, and assist in integrating new OT/IT systems while providing

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in engineering, IT/OT, or digital projects — ideally in the power or utilities sector.
Hands-on experience with data tools, cloud platforms, or automation software (even at beginner level).
Ability to break down problems, learn quickly, and work with people from both technical and operational teams.
Clear communication skills and willingness to work on both field-facing and desk-based tasks.
Past experience with robotics and/or networking is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Support digital improvement projects across generation, transmission, or distribution operations.
Help evaluate existing tools and processes (e.g., SCADA, GIS, AMI, CMMS) and identify areas that can be automated or streamlined.
Work with engineers and field teams to understand requirements and turn them into workable digital solutions.
Assist in implementing technologies such as data dashboards, basic analytics, IoT devices, or workflow automation tools.
Help integrate new systems with existing OT/IT infrastructure.
Troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and support users during rollout.
Support the robotics program for data collection
