Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking a hands-on engineer/IT/OT professional to accelerate digital initiatives across generation, transmission, and distribution operations.

You will evaluate existing tools (SCADA, GIS, AMI, CMMS), collaborate with engineers and field teams to translate requirements into practical digital solutions, and assist deploying dashboards, basic analytics, IoT devices, or workflow automation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in engineering, IT/OT, or digital projects.
• Hands-on experience with data tools, cloud platforms, or automation software.
• Ability to break down problems and learn quickly.
• Clear communication skills for field-facing and desk-based tasks.
• Past robotics and/or networking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support digital improvement projects across generation, transmission, or distribution operations.
• Help evaluate existing tools and processes (e.g., SCADA, GIS, AMI, CMMS) and identify areas that can be automated or streamlined.
• Work with engineers and field teams to understand requirements and turn them into workable digital solutions.
• Assist in implementing technologies such as data dashboards, basic analytics, IoT devices, or workflow automation tools.
• Help integrate new systems with existing OT/IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and support users during rollout.
• Support the robotics program for data collection
