MTC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Deputy Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of freight technology products, bridging business operations, IT teams and external partners to deliver data-driven logistics solutions.

You will drive digitalisation, develop Power BI dashboards, explore AI-driven solutions, and manage integrations with SAP, ERP and other logistics platforms. This role demands strong analytical skills and experience in freight forwarding tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related.
• 7–10 years in product management/technology/digital transformation; 3+ years in a technical logistics role.

5 days work week West Area Exciting Career Prospect Join a growing digital transformation team and play a key role in shaping the technology that powers freight forwarding, transportation and logistics operations.

As Deputy Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of freight technology products, bridging business operations, IT teams and external technology partners to deliver smarter, more efficient and data-driven logistics solutions.

What You'll Do

• Own the product roadmap, architecture and lifecycle of freight technology platforms, including Freight Forwarding Systems, TMS, billing, customer portals and Track & Trace solutions.
• Translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions, system designs and product enhancements .
• Drive digitalisation and automation initiatives across freight and logistics operations.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, analytics and automated reporting to provide real-time operational and financial insights.
• Explore, develop and deploy AI-driven solutions and intelligent agents to automate manual freight processes.
• Manage integrations with SAP, ERP systems, third-party logistics platforms, APIs and freight technology partners .
• Lead system implementation, migration, testing, go-live and post-implementation improvement initiatives.
• Work with vendors on RFP/RFI processes, technical evaluation and service-level management.
• Prioritise product enhancements and technology initiatives based on business value, risk and operational needs.
• Act as the key bridge between freight operations and technology teams , ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through technology transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline .
• 7-10 years of experience in product management, technology or digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a technical role within logistics/freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain technology is highly advantageous.
• Experience with TMS, freight forwarding systems, ERP, WMS, APIs or logistics platforms .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies .
• Experience with Power BI, Jira and Confluence .
• Proven experience managing system implementations, migrations, vendors and technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable experimenting with new technologies.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSPO or CSCP are advantageous.
