Job summary

Bob the Baker Boy is seeking a creative Digital Marketing Intern to support our content and campaigns. You will help manage social media content, assist with photoshoots and editing, and contribute to product descriptions and website updates.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a marketing-related degree, are proactive, and can work independently. Experience with Canva/CapCut and basic photography is a plus, with a strong interest in food and lifestyle content.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or a related field
• Creative, proactive and willing to learn
• Good written communication skills
• Comfortable with social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or other content creation tools is an advantage
• Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Interest in food, lifestyle, social media and content creation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other social media platforms
• Plan, shoot and edit photos and short-form videos featuring our cakes, products and behind-the-scenes activities
• Assist with writing captions, product descriptions and other marketing content
• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, promotions and seasonal campaigns
• Assist with website content updates, product listings and basic SEO activities
• Monitor social media trends and identify new content ideas and opportunities
• Track basic marketing performance such as views, engagement and enquiries
• Assist with simple marketing research, competitor checks and customer insights
• Support photoshoots, product launches, events and other marketing activities
• Perform other marketing and content-related tasks as required

You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage digital platforms and support campaigns that promote our cakes, desserts and gifting products.
