Job summary

VionData Partners seeks a Digital Literacies Educator to deploy to a leading educational institution in Singapore for the 2027 academic year. You will nurture an e-learning culture, develop digital resources for teachers, and spearhead ICT initiatives alongside the HOD EdTech.

The role covers ICT training, content development, and technical support to staff and students, with opportunities to lead student projects and maker spaces.

Qualifications

• MOE registration required.
• Diploma in IT-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 2 years ICT-related experience in a local primary school.
• Strong command of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, animation tools), web design, and Mac/Windows platforms.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

About the Role

VionData Partners is seeking a skilled and passionate Digital Literacies Educator to be deployed to our client, a leading educational institution in Singapore. This is a key manpower supply role for the 2027 academic year.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing an e‑Learning and ePedagogy culture within the school: empowering students and teachers with the latest digital tools, creating engaging digital content, and spearheading ICT initiatives in collaboration with the school’s HOD EdTech.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Literacy & ICT Training

Conduct customised ICT‑based training workshops for students and teachers, delivering engaging courses on topics including, but not limited to:

• Touch typing and Mother Tongue text input (Windows IME, Creative Hans vision, Malay,Tamil)
• Cyber wellness and safe digital practices
• E‑learning portals (Student Learning Space) and Google Classroom
• MicrosoftOffice / Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Basic photo editing (Adobe Photoshop) and video production (Premiere Pro, MicrosoftVideo Editor)
• Coding(Scratch, Micro:bit) and AI / prompt engineering
• Drone operation in educational settings

2. E‑Learning & Content Development

• Nurture an e‑learning culture by designing digital and interactive resources forteachers.
• Create engaging e‑learning content to support the school’s curriculum.
• Assist in developing and researching IT solutions to enhance teaching and learning.

3. Technical Support & Student Development

• Provide software and technical assistance to staff and students.
• Compile student showcase projects and guide / coach students through ICT competitions.
• Facilitate student‑led tech projects and maker spaces.

4. Collaboration & Initiatives

• Collaborate with the HOD EdTech to spearhead IT initiatives.
• Assist in planning and executing school‑wide digital literacy programmes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential

• MOE registration: must be a registered instructor with the Ministry of Education(MOE).
• Education:at least a Diploma, preferably in an Information Technology‑related discipline, or equivalent.
• Experience:minimum 2 years of ICT‑related working experience in a local primary school.
• Technical proficiency: strong command of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, animation tools), web design, and Mac / Windows platforms.
• Communication:proficient in written and spoken English.

Advantageous

• Training and experience in digital art design.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy practices in education.
• Experience with 3D printing, interactive whiteboards and AVA equipment.

Working Hours & Terms

Work Schedule

Mondays to Fridays, 7:00am – 4:15pm (inclusive of 45‑minute lunch break)

Weekends / Public Holidays

No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. The candidate must be prepared to work on some Saturdays as requested by the client in advance.

Leave

The contractor will propose the number of Vacation Leave and Ordinary Sick Leave days, which will be subsumed within the monthly contract price.

Contract Duration

1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027

Payment

Monthly service fee, pro‑rated based on the number of working days services are provided.
