Job summary

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for a tenure-track, open-rank faculty position in Digital Finance and AI. We seek a scholar with a strong research record in digital finance and experience using machine learning or AI tools in their work.

The appointee will contribute to interdisciplinary research across design, AI, engineering, economics, and education, and help shape new undergraduate courses.

Qualifications

• Strong record of research output and potential for external funding.
• Experience applying AI/ML in finance or interdisciplinary contexts is preferred.
• Ability to lead and teach undergraduate courses in Digital Finance.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will maintain a strong research profile including publications and grant funding.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research across design and AI with various departments.
• Lead development and teaching of Digital Finance courses for an interdisciplinary degree.
• Mentor doctoral and postgraduate students in Digital Finance or related fields.
• Foster collaborations with industry or the public sector will be advantageous.
