Job summary

SD Legal is seeking a Singapore-based lawyer to join an established legal team focused on product and commercial matters across APAC. You will support on contracts, regulatory issues, and new products, including insurance product launches on digital platforms.

Applicants with 5–10 years PQE, Tier 1 law firm training, and exposure to digital product development and cross-border regulatory matters are preferred. Open to law firm or in-house backgrounds, with regional coverage.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10 PQE
• Law firm training - Tier 1
• Open to candidates from both law firms and those with In-House experience
• Candidates with exposure to digital products, innovation, launch, distribution and regulatory oversight - preferred
• Singapore based role but with regional coverage

Responsibilities

• Support product and commercial teams on a wide range of commercial matters including contracts, regulation and new products.
• Transactions include development and launch of Insurance products on a digital platform.
• Commercial work includes advising on agreements such as customer contracts, distribution and cross-border sales/advertising.
• Provide up-to-date regulatory advice to commercial teams.
