Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across data centres and cloud environments.

You will develop automation scripts, configure CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security controls are integrated throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities include provisioning VMs, databases, containers, and infrastructure resources, plus implementing monitoring, backup, DR and incident response.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI and CD.
• Experience managing high-availability, multi-data-centre systems or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in at least three programming/scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go).
• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure provisioning tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V) and containers (Docker, ECS with Fargate).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infra, resources, networking and app stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across data centres and cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for deployment, builds, integration and releases across environments.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls and change management.
• Provision and manage VMs, databases, containers and other infra resources.
• Implement configuration management, monitoring and observability to optimise performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot complex infra/app issues, participate in incidents and on-call support.
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Implement and monitor security architecture, threat assessments, vulnerability scanning and incident response.
• Integrate security controls into development workflows and cloud-native environments.
• Apply security best practices to infra configs, access controls and deployment processes.
