Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE to design, automate and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across data centres and cloud environments.

You will implement CI/CD, manage AWS resources and container platforms, and ensure security controls are integrated throughout development and release processes. Responsibilities include provisioning resources, monitoring and observability, on-call support, and disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Diploma required in CS/engineering or related field.
• Strong SDLC, TDD, CI/CD understanding and hands-on experience.
• Experience with multi-data-centre or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Bash/PowerShell/Python/Go scripting.
• Git and CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket) experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Ansible, Terraform and container tech.
• Familiar with Docker, ECS/Fargate and virtualization.
• Knowledge of monitoring (Grafana/CloudWatch/OpenTelemetry).
• Excellent troubleshooting across infra, resources, network and apps.
• Background in disaster recovery planning and backups.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, automate and maintain secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines across data centres and cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to support application deployment, software builds, integration and release processes across development, testing and production environments.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls and streamlining change management and software delivery.
• Provision and manage virtual machines, databases, containers and other infrastructure resources to support development teams.
• Implement configuration management, infrastructure monitoring and observability solutions to optimise system performance, availability and resource utilisation.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, participate in critical incident escalations and support on-call operations when required.
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to ensure infrastructure resilience.
• Implement and monitor security architecture, including threat assessments, vulnerability scanning, system hardening and security incident investigation.
• Integrate security controls into development workflows and cloud-native environments to protect applications, infrastructure and organisational data.
• Apply security best practices and industry standards to infrastructure configurations, access controls and deployment processes.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Experience managing high-availability, high-performance and high-security multi-data-centre systems or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in at least three programming or scripting languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, Python or Go.
• Experience with Git, modern branching workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure provisioning tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as KVM, VMware or Hyper-V, and container technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS with Fargate.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, system resources, networking and application stacks.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning, system backup and restoration, and RPM-based software packaging and deployment.
