Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based technology consultancy, seeks a DevSecOps Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term contract to design, automate, and secure scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud and data centers.

You will work in an agile, collaborative setting, focusing on security integration, automation, and continuous delivery to support government agency projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering/IT.
• Experience with SDLC, TDD, CI, and CD.
• Experience with high availability, high performance, and high security multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in at least three scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go).
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with automated provisioning tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Vagrant).
• Hands-on with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, HyperV).
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CNCF tools (Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane).
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, ArgoCD).
• Disaster recovery planning, backup and restore processes.
• Knowledge of RPM-based packaging and deployment.
• Security controls in CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.
• Security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and hardening.
• Familiarity with enterprise security tools (HashiCorp Vault, ElasticSearch Enterprise, Tenable, HP Fortify, Sonatype Nexus IQ, AWS security services).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure (firewalls, subnets, routing, access controls).
• Experience performing security assessments in government or regulated environments.
• Security certifications such as CREST, CISSP, CISM, or cloud security credentials.
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
• API security, secrets management, and zero-trust architectures.
• Service mesh security (Istio, Linkerd).

Responsabilités

• Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Work in an agile, collaborative environment; integrate security into DevOps workflows.
• Develop automation to deploy, manage, scale, and monitor apps in data centers and cloud.
• Troubleshoot system and app issues; participate in on-call escalations.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure and security solutions.
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools for performance and health.
• Implement configuration management for business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Provision VMs, databases, containers, and licenses for development.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change management.
• Develop scripts to support build, integration, and deployment across environments.
• Automate configuration management across development, QA, and prod workloads.
• Design and monitor automation to maximize service availability.
• Implement security practices that meet industry standards.
