Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a leading technology consultancy in Singapore, invites a DevSecOps Engineer for a fixed-term, 1-year contract. You will design and manage CI/CD with GitLab, deploy AWS-based infrastructure, and implement security across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC using Terraform, and collaboration across Dev and Ops teams. You will also drive remediation, monitoring, and observability efforts, including SRE practices and vulnerability management, ensuring

Qualifications

• 2+ years in DevSecOps or cloud infra management.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with AWS services (ECS, ECR, Aurora, WAF, etc.).
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with Terraform IaC and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security tools including SCA and container scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Deploy and configure complex systems across cloud environments.
• Develop automation for recurring tasks with modular code.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments.
• Embed security and SRE practices into SDLC with teams.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and remediation activities.
• Monitor, alert, and troubleshoot production systems.
• Drive infra tasks from planning to completion independently.
