Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore, supported by SBF under the JSIT WST initiative, seeks a meticulous DevOps Engineer to build, automate and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile apps.

The role focuses on automation, reliability, and security across environments, with emphasis on cost optimization, release coordination, and compliance with public-sector security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on DevOps experience on AWS.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline experience in a team.
• Experience with IaC and container deployments.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in CS/IT/Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
• Provision and manage AWS infra (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes/ECS deployments.
• Set up monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Enforce security best practices across infra and pipelines.
• Support release management and deployments.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
• Troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Document architecture, pipelines and runbooks.
• Assist security audits and reviews.
