Job summary

Thales Group is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer in Singapore to architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC-driven environments, and secure, observable software delivery across cloud and on-prem. You will collaborate with architects and agile teams to enable rapid, secure releases.

The role emphasizes shift-left security, automated testing, and proactive monitoring within a multinational, cross-functional setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Recognized Engineering degree.
• Experience designing and deploying CI pipelines for software teams.
• Strong Linux OS and shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Secrets and Configuration Management in Kubernetes environments.
• Proven ability to implement proactive monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support Agile teams.
• Provision and manage dev/test/prod environments.
• Use IaC tools (Terraform, Helmfile, Ansible, Kubernetes manifests) for reproducibility and compliance.
• Ensure high availability and zero-downtime deployments (blue/green, canary).
• Automate code quality, security scans, release management and monitoring.
• Collaborate with System Architects, RTEs and Agile teams on delivery practices.
• Provide DevSecOps coaching for version control and test automation.
• Support PI planning by ensuring environments and pipelines are ready.
• Incorporate security (Secrets Management) into CI pipelines with shift-left approach.
• Automate compliance checks and policy enforcement (code signing, scanning).
• Develop observability with monitoring, logs, traces and OTEL metrics.
