Job summary

Thales Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Software DevOps Engineer to build digital products powering airline customers and improve engineering practices. You will design, deploy, and maintain applications and data analytics for operational support, delivering high-impact outcomes within a high-visibility team.

You will mentor engineers, advance AI-enabled workflows, ensure security and observability, and collaborate across product, data/AI, and engineering squads to translate business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in full-stack development, Core Java, and REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, orchestration, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• Experience or strong understanding of LLMs and Generative AI, including integration into enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of complex features and subsystems from requirements to production support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data/AI teams, and engineering squads to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead the technical design of cloud-native applications ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Design and integrate AI-enabled applications and intelligent workflows using enterprise APIs and data platforms.
• Mentor engineers and drive AI-augmented development practices and engineering standards.
