Job summary

Hey Rocket Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to join our Singapore-based team. You will contribute to a central platform environment, develop automation scripts, and build custom solutions that streamline CI/CD and developer experiences.

The role emphasizes programming in Python/Go/Node.js, REST API integration, and hands-on IaC with Terraform, Pulumi, and Ansible, supporting large-scale cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or SRE.
• Experience in a central platform team or Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Strong programming skills: Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience developing automation scripts, integrating REST APIs, and building custom solutions.

Job description

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens, Singapore PRs, and EP holders. Singapore-based candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Experience working within a central platform team or Internal Developer Platform (IDP) environment is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience developing automation scripts, integrating REST APIs, and building custom solutions.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience managing large-scale AWS or Azure environments.

Observability & Monitoring

• Practical experience configuring and managing telemetry pipelines.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Experience integrating Jira Service Management (JSM), ServiceNow, or PagerDuty APIs.
• Ability to build automated alerting, incident management, and ticketing workflows.
