Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a QA Engineer with a strong interest in DevOps to join our team and help ensure the reliability of our software products. You will design test plans, develop automated scripts, participate in incident reviews, and collaborate with development and platform teams to embed quality practices across the SDLC.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of QA experience, with proficiency in Python or Node.js and testing frameworks such as Jest,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QA and software testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js.
• Experience with QA testing frameworks such as Jest, Pytest, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with development and platform engineering teams to ensure reliability and quality of software applications.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for thorough testing coverage, including performance and resilience testing.
• Participate in incident reviews, root-cause analyses, and post-mortem discussions to address quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Champion a culture of quality and reliability across teams and promote best practices.
• Contribute to strengthen DevOps methodologies, processes, and best practices within the organization.
