Job summary

NCS is seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to help design, implement, and operate Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. You will assist in deploying apps on AKS, configuring networking, and maintaining services for reliability, security, and scalability, with hands-on Azure experience and container familiarity.

The role focuses on provisioning resources, configuring VMs, VNets, Storage, and ACR, plus monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or any container orchestrator.
• Understanding of Docker containers and how to build, create and manage containers.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Services, Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps).
• Experience deploying applications in container environments.
• Understanding networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Subnets, Routing, Firewall rules).

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Support the setup and configuration of services such as: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure SQL / Managed databases.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Deploy containerized applications using: Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts.
• Support container image workflows including: Build, Push to container registry, Deployment updates, Troubleshoot pod, service, and ingress related issues.

The candidate will assist in deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), configuring networking, and maintaining cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on Azure experience, familiarity with containerized applications, and basic cloud networking knowledge.
