Job summary

NCS is seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to assist in designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on provisioning resources, configuring networking, and ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of Azure services.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AKS, containerized apps, and basic cloud networking. This is a hands-on role in an enterprise Azure environment with growth opportunities in AI-enabled workloads.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with AKS or any container orchestrator platform.
• Understanding of Docker containers and how to build, create and manage containers.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Services, Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps).
• Experience deploying applications in container environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, routing, firewall rules).

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Support the setup and configuration of services such as: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure SQL / Managed databases, Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The candidate will assist in deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), configuring networking, and maintaining cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on Azure experience, familiarity with containerized applications, and basic cloud networking knowledge.

Responsibilities | CORE

• Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Support the setup and configuration of services such as:
  • Virtual Machines
  • Virtual Networks
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Container Registry (ACR)
  • Azure SQL / Managed databases
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Deploy containerized applications using:
  • Kubernetes manifests
  • Helm charts
• Support container image workflows including:
  • Build
  • Push to container registry
  • Deployment updates
  • Troubleshoot pod, service, and ingress related issues.
